Finally traced the problem to a broken wire going to the map sensor now have no problems reaching 3 figure speeds. Not that I have ever been that fast Car starts but no revs till about 5-10 seconds then everything is fine , Iv been told it needs a ford update is this true Or is it a injector problem Got a Crank Pulley. I have just had my clutch/DMF changed on my 2006 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 115 bhp estate with 149000 miles. The drive is now so much better and no more flywheel noise/vibration at idle. (TDCi engine) He gave details of the belt he used, and I checked with my local car spares shop and they can get the belt, costs £30. tAgp.
