Differences between old mount and blade and bannerlord? : r/mountandblade In the Top 1% of largest communities on Reddit Differences between old mount and blade and bannerlord? Really what are the main differences. Why should I buy bannerlord instead of continuing to play warband? Aside from the obvious graphics. Hell what are the similarities? charge makes all units close in for melee. advance makes units close in, ranged units will skirmish. #1. TiFlo Apr 10, 2020 @ 7:18pm. Charge orders units into melee; Advance orders units into contact (skirmishers will close into skirmish distance, archers will close into archery range, melee inf. will close to melee). #2. Warband has only Sandbox mode, where VC has both Story mode and Sandbox. VC is great, but the gameplay is totally different than the Warband. Horses play a very small role in VC and ranged weapons are weak. On the other hand battles on foot and thrown weapons are what the game is all about. I like VC, but the gameplay is not one I really would Varros for example has 4 characters. Apys, Eronyx, and Mina are listed as vassals and will have armies but Melkea is a nobleman and will never leave the castle or town. Argoros has 6 characters and Manteos, Andros, and Belithor are vassals with armies and Phenoria, Sora, and Maurentios are noblemen and sit in towns. #5. Differences, really only map location and who they will probably be at war with more often. I have probably started around 8-10 games since release and by the time I am ready to choose a faction (late clan 2 early 3) the Southern Empire seems to be in the best position with Western being hit or miss stable and Northern being the worst and sometimes they are almost gone. Female vassals are a dime a dozen now and one of the factions has a female leader. They're trying to make it more PC but they took away how empowering it was to play a female character and succeed in Warband. Now you're just playing a male with a baby factory. It makes you feel like you are in charge of the AI. #3. Janek Aug 7, 2021 @ 6:31am. If you put it on Aggressive, your party will raid enemy villages and also chase enemy further (and get themselves caught) I always put them on defensive so that they Overall there's nothing really wrong with steam downloads and it's a good idea to check them regularly for Bannerlord if you only use Nexus, since it does seem like Steam is where most mods will end up looking at number of downloads vs. Nexus versions. Ty for the well informed opinion. #4. Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. Militia is raised by the settlement and can't be removed by you, but the settlement doesn't need you to micromanage it. At the moment they seem to behave the same way but that might change eventually. Militia is the army permanently attached to the settlement. Garrison is the troops you put in or take out. For the sake of google shows your post Always duel. the bodyguards will definitely kill some of your guys. if you duel the other bandits are often just standing there after it goes back to the map and you can usually recruit them. #8.
